Founded in 1978 in Milan, Gianni Versace is one of the leading international fashion design houses and a symbol of Italian luxury around the world. In 2004, the Luxury Division of the Timex Group, based in Lugano (Switzerland), part of the Timex Group (Usa), began its activity with a license agreement to design at its headquarters in Milan (Italy), manufacture at its headquarters in Lugano (Switzerland) and distributes Versace brand watches through the new company Vertime SA. Exclusively made in Switzerland, Versace watches feature the most emblematic symbols of the House of Versace: the head of Medusa, the fretwork and the Versace letters. 46mm round case in polished gold-tone stainless steel with fixed bezel of the same material but brushed. The bezel features a tachymeter scale set from 60 to 500 units engraved on a black painted background. Round crown in polished gold-plated stainless steel with relief of the head of Medusa at 3 o'clock and rectangular pushers for the watch functions in the same material at 2 and 4 o'clock. Sapphire crystal. Black powder-coated metal dial with raised outer ring to which are applied polished gold-tone metal wedge-type indexes with inlaid lights except at 12 o'clock, which are replaced by a polished gold-tone metal jellyfish head relief. The internal area of the dial is of the same material and color as the outer ring but with a ""guilloché clous de Paris"" relief decoration and houses three sub-dials, at 3 o'clock, 6 o'clock and 9 o'clock and the aperture of date of the day of the month, at 4 o'clock. The subdials have an angled outer ring of brushed gold-tone metal with black painted indexes and an inner black area with an embossed concentric ring pattern with light gray painted indexes and numerals and counterweighted central baton hands in polished gold metal. The 3 o'clock subdial is a small seconds subdial for the hour function, the 6 o'clock subdial is a 12 hour counter for the chronograph function, and the 9 o'clock subdial is a 30 counter minutes for the chronograph function. Brand name in polished gold-tone metal with applied letters at 12 o'clock on the dial. Highlight of the black metal dial with the baton type minute markers except the multiples of five which are light gray painted Arabic numerals from 16 to 59 minutes and the rest in brown. Central hands in polished gold metal, faceted obelisk type with counterweight and light for hours and minutes and stick type with counterweight for the chronograph seconds hand. Made in Switzerland. Analog quartz chronograph movement from the Swiss brand Ronda, model 5030D, with chronograph measuring functions with successive and partial times, small seconds, 30-minute and 12-hour chronograph counter and day of the month, battery type No.395 with approximate 54 months duration and 70% battery saving feature with crown removed. Brushed stainless steel back cover with scrollwork engraving and jellyfish head. Water resistant 5 ATM (50 m). Strap in black natural leather with embossed crocodile skin pattern, double loop in the same material and black thread stitching on the front and light brown natural leather with stitching in the same color and gold stainless steel folding clasp with engraving of the name of the brand.
